Kinminds (kinminds.social and alias kinmind.social) was created to provide a sanctuary where you can share sensitive, raw human experiences without being tracked, profiled, or commodified.
We practice radical data minimization. We only collect the bare minimum information necessary to authenticate your account, maintain community safety, and operate the platform.
When you register, authentication is processed through our secure infrastructure powered by Supabase. We store your email address and optional profile handle/display name. We never store raw passwords, and passwordless authentication tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit.
When you submit a post or vote “Me too”, the action is recorded to display community totals. When you choose to post anonymously, your public profile is disconnected from the question, preventing other members from seeing your identity.
Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) are temporarily retained solely for network diagnostic purposes, preventing automated spam attacks, and ensuring platform availability.
We do not use invasive third-party ad tracking pixels. We use local browser storage and first-party cookies strictly to enhance your experience:
sb-auth-token: Essential secure session cookie managed by Supabase to keep you signed in securely.
cookie_consent: Remembers whether you have acknowledged our cookie preferences banner.
pending_vote_intent: Temporary browser localStorage item. When an unauthenticated visitor clicks “Me too” and completes sign-in, this intent automatically records their vote without losing their place. It has a strict 15-minute time-to-live (TTL) and is deleted immediately upon authentication or expiration.
We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal data.
Your vulnerable questions and heartfelt “Me too” votes will never be packaged into commercial profiles, sold to data brokers, or leveraged for targeted behavioral advertising networks.
